A Voter Registration Assistant plays a supervisory and coordination role during voter registration exercises. The position ensures smooth field operations, data integrity, equipment security, and achievement of registration targets within the assigned ward.

🔧 Key Duties and Responsibilities
Successful applicants will be expected to:
- Supervise Voter Registration Clerks within the ward
- Assist in planning and coordinating KIEMS kit movement schedules
- Collate, verify, and submit voter registration data accurately
- Ensure the security and proper handling of biometric equipment (BVR kits/KIEMS tablets)
- Track and report voter registration progress regularly
- Publicize registration activities and mobilize the community to meet registration targets
🎓 Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Kenyan citizen and a registered voter
- At least 21 years old
- Resident of the ward/constituency being applied for
- Minimum qualification of a Diploma in ICT or a related field
- Available for the entire registration period
- Proficient in English and Kiswahili
- Knowledge of local languages is an added advantage
- Demonstrated integrity, impartiality, and respect for diversity
- Willingness to work long hours under field conditions

Applicants must not have:
- Held an elective office
- Stood for election
- Acted as a political party agent
