**For Parents · Students · Teachers · Guardians**

It’s that thrilling moment — the **KJSEA results** are live! Whether you’re a proud parent, a learner ready to move into senior school, or a teacher helping families navigate this new process, here’s how to check results clearly and confidently.

---

## **1 Look Up Results Online (Official Portal)**

Visit the official KJSEA results portal:

[**https://kjsea.knec.ac.ke/**](https://kjsea.knec.ac.ke/?ref=blog.nestict.com) or the dedicated selection portal

[**Grade 10 Selection System**](https://selection.education.go.ke/my-selections?ref=blog.nestict.com)

### **Easy Steps to Follow**

1. Open the **portal URL** in any web browser (mobile or computer).
2. **Enter the learner’s Assessment Number**.
3. Provide at least **one registered name** (first or last) if prompted.
4. **Agree to privacy terms** or notifications, then click **Search / Submit**.
5. **View, download, or print** the result slip showing performance and placement info.

**Tip:** Save a PDF copy and/or print your child’s results for future reference and admission steps.

---

## **2 Check Results via Mobile SMS**

If internet access is limited, Kenya’s telecom partners have enabled a results service via SMS:

**Send the learner’s assessment number to: `22263`**

**Cost:** \~KSh 30

You’ll receive a text with key result details and senior school placement choices.

SMS is simple and perfect for fast checks without internet. Just ensure you type the assessment number correctly.

---

## **3 Through the School (Official Copies)**

Schools will receive result slips from **KNEC** for distribution to parents and learners. If you prefer a printed copy or if the portal is busy, contact the school office and ask when they will issue **official result slips and guidance**.

---

## **Important Notes & Safety Tips**

**Beware of fake USSD or social-media codes** that claim to give instant results — these can be scams or misinformation. Always use **official channels** above.

 Keep these handy:

- The KJSEA uses **performance bands**, not strict percentage scores.
- You may see placement info and suggested pathways like **STEM, Arts, or Social Sciences**.
- Learners transition into **Grade 10 starting January 12, 2026**.

---

## **Final Thoughts**

Checking KJSEA results should be straightforward: visit the official portal or use SMS if you’re on the go. This new system celebrates broad competencies rather than only traditional marks, helping students find the **right pathway for senior school success**.

Got your assessment number ready? Let’s go check that result!
